Hi my name is Dr. Nicola Siso, a Harvard University graduate, a Holistic Nutrition Ph.D. holder from The University of Natural Health, and a Type I diabetic.
I help pre-diabetics prevent diabetes, type 2's reverse it, and type I's manage it.
I do this through my entertaining, educational, and easy to apply online nutrition program called How To Feed A Diabetic. I also offer one on one coaching, with personalized guidance (and meal plans) to help you stay on track.
Without proper knowledge on how to feed yourself or your diabetic child, it is likely you will experience the common symptoms of exhaustion, insatiable food cravings, weight gain, moodiness, and irritability. Diabetes can be extremely destructive to your quality of life… but it doesn't have to be!
You must learn the root causes of diabetes, what to remove from your diet, and how to nourish yourself or your child properly. If you really commit and follow my program, you will regain the energy to be productive from morning to night, to play with your children, and to live life to the fullest again. You will feel satiated, lose that excess weight, and feel an overall sense of peace. I know this because this is what I experienced when I changed my diet.
As a parent of a diabetic, it is imperative that you learn to recognize symptoms and which nutrients your child needs to be healthy again. By doing so, you will not only lose the fear of their blood sugars dropping dangerously low but also save them from the long-term health risks of their blood sugars being dangerously high.
